Our Story
Bobby Singh grew up in the jewelry business. His father operated A.G. Singson Jewelers at Fair Oaks Mall for over 20 years, and Bobby spent his summers, holidays, and winter breaks learning the trade alongside him. After earning a degree in Finance from Virginia Tech, Bobby knew he wanted to continue the family legacy on his own terms. In 2007, he and his wife Julie opened Midtown Jewelers in Reston Town Center with a clear vision: build an upscale, personalized boutique experience that felt nothing like the jewelry counters in suburban malls. The first three years tested that vision. The recession hit hard, and luxury was the last thing on anyone's mind. But the Singhs adapted, pivoting from high-end fashion jewelry into the bridal market just as the engagement ring shopping experience was transforming into something couples did together. Northern Virginia embraced Midtown, and the accolades followed. After more than a decade in Reston, Bobby and Julie moved the boutique to its current home in Historic Herndon, a welcoming and elegant space that reflects the same commitment to quality, integrity, and personal service that started it all over 40 years ago.
